  Monday 28 August is the August   Bank Holiday , which means millions of Britons will be enjoying a long weekend. It also marks the last bank holiday for the rest of the year, until Christmas in December. On account of the public holiday, a number of  supermarkets  and shops might have opening hours that differ from their normal operating times. Most supermarkets advise customers to check their local store’s opening time using store locators on their websites before visiting, as individual stores may have different hours.  Former US President Donald Trump posted his mugshot on X, the site formerly known as Twitter. On Thursday, Trump became the first former US president to have a mugshot, after being booked in Georgia on charges of plotting to overturn the state’s 2020 election results. He was also booked on a dozen felony counts. Trump paid a bail bond of $200,000 for his release from the Fulton County jail as he awaits trial.   Ukraine’s reigning world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk hit the scales 12 pounds lighter than British challenger Daniel Dubois at Friday’s weigh-in for today’s title clash in Wroclaw, Poland. The Steelers are adding a former Pro Bowl player to their roster. Pittsburgh has agreed to a one-year deal with veteran linebacker Kwon Alexander. Alexander had met with the Steelers back in May. Alexander, 28, was a fourth-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. He spent his first four seasons in Tampa Bay and was a Pro Bowler in 2017 after recording a league-high 108 solo tackles. In 2019, Alexander helped the 49ers reach the Super Bowl during his only full season in San Francisco.  He was traded to the Saints midway through the 2021 season before spending the entire 2022 season with the Jets. In New York, Alexander registered 69 tackles in 12 starts while playing in each of New York's 17 games. While he's proven to be a solid player, injuries have prevented Alexander from further success.
